Our motel
The Village Motel was the brainchild of Jean-Pierre Monnier, who in 1985, after returning from the USA, decided to build a motel in Tournus, Southern Burgundy. As time has passed, his son Olivier now manages this pleasant hotel with his partner Laurence, perpetuating the values of hospitality, conviviality, and authenticity that have always enlivened this beautiful estate nestled in a vast 3-hectare park.
Ideally located at the exit of the A6 motorway, the Village Motel is a haven of peace. It is a true small village at the heart of the charming town of Tournus, and its swimming pool welcomes you with open arms in the summer. The three hectares of the park and the pétanque court are accessible all year round.

Notre hôtel
Le VILLAGE MOTEL, c’est l’idée de Jean-Pierre Monnier qui, en 1985, de retour des USA, eut l’idée de construire un Motel à Tournus, en Bourgogne du Sud. Le temps est passé, son fils Olivier, dirige aujourd’hui avec sa compagne Laurence, cet agréable hôtel, perpétuant ainsi les valeurs d’accueil, de convivialité et d’authenticité qui ont toujours animé ce beau domaine niché dans un vaste parc de 3 hectares.
Idéalement situé à la sortie de l’autoroute A6 et encerclé par de hauts murs, le Village Motel est un havre de paix. C’est un véritable petit village au coeur de la jolie ville de Tournus dont la piscine vous tend les bras en été. Les deux hectares du parc ainsi que le terrain de pétanque sont eux accessibles toute l’année.

Our Outdoor Pool
The large pool at Village Motel, open for the summer season, is exclusively reserved for hotel guests. You can enjoy the sun on one of the loungers or contemplate the waterfall from the terrace overlooking the pool. Cold drinks and ice cream are served at the hotel bar.
